Prishtina Architecture Week: Day 5

The fifth day of Prishtina Architecture Week, started as usual with the workshops underway, trailed up with the exhibitions held at the Modelarium of FCEA Department of Architecture and at Kosovo’s Academy of Science and Arts. Continuing to the open studio of one of the biggest architectural practices in Prishtina  – ANARCH.

PAW day 5 - Astrit Nixha

The evening session began with the presentation of Astrit Nixha, head of ANARCH introducing a viable transformation over the company-based model to the outsourcing trend. Challenging global markets, on undertaking projects from concept development to construction document sets development.

PAW 2013 saw its event boom, after the presentation of Murat Tabanlioglu one of the most prominent Turkish architects, which presented a number of significant projects of his practice, built all around the world.

As usual, the event proceeded with the screenings from the Living Architecture Series of the documentary “Inside Piano”. To be closed, with the presentation of Perparim Rama, head of 4M Group and curator of the Kosovan Pavilion – “The Filigree Maker” at the Venice Biennale 2012. Rama, talked about the challenges, achievements and outcomes of the debut at the Venice Biennale.
