With the goal to convert the city’s central road, into a more elegant space that befits the functionality and the touristic attraction to the city, the Department of Infrastructure of Prishtina municipal have begun with the regeneration of Garibaldi Street.

Garibaldi Street is one of the most well-known neighborhood commercial districts in Prishtina. The existing infrastructure does not adequately accommodate the needs of the residents and visitors who use the street every day.

Therefore the architects and engineers from the municipality developed a design that balances the needs of its users and enhances the street by regulating the vehicles road, modifying pavements by providing the path for the blinds for the first time in Prishtina, removing informal barriers and unifying the stairways of the shops along the street, setting of new trees and lighting to completely change the aesthetic appearance of the Garibaldi Street.
