Termokiss
Termokiss is a community-run center in Prishtina with the mission of urban and civil exchange, reflection and change making.
It all started in summer 2016 when 45 volunteers were brought together in order to revitalize an abandoned building with the aim of empowering youngsters in Prishtina. During this process of hard work, a powerful statement was given to the people of Kosovo by showing them how much could be achieved when we get together and believe in our vision.
The original idea for Termokiss came from a similar project in Brussels called Allee Du Kaai; the temporary space takeover, which is open six days per week implemented by the international organization Toestand, a Belgian NGO which specializes in revitalising abandoned objects.
A venue for people to meet in a non-commercial setting, whether it be for a workshop, artistic performance, to see a film, play rugby, wall-climb, have a drink, have breakfast or anything that could come to one’s mind with a good intention. The activities organized by the community are determined by both the needs of the community and the skills.
