It has been a month since I visit Prishtina for my first time. I spend there only one day but I really liked the city. Every single time I was comparing it with Tirana and the greatest advantage of Prishtina is the “quality”. It is clear that Prishtina`s “outfit” is the industrial one, but if you look carefully on the city`s streets you can find some real architectural “gems” like coffee shops, restaurants and hotels.

During a walk through the “Nena Tereze” square, I saw one of the gems I mentioned, it was the Swiss Diamond Hotel (link). That building, in my opinion, is the most beautiful and indulging in the area that I have seen till now!

With the opening of this new hotel, Swiss Diamond brought a distinctive style and sense of Swiss tradition and luxury to the city of Prishtina. The interior design of the hotel seems to be an interweaving of two different styles: Venetian and modern. Swiss Diamond Hotel is located at the heart of the city and all shopping areas, local attractions, mosques, museums are within walking distance. Asking around I found that the hotel has 140 rooms and suites, 4 restaurants and bars. Also it features the first wellness center at this kind in Kosovo, a total area of approximately 1200 square meters of facilities were created to sooth the body and relax the mind.

I`m sure that you are all impressed from those photos as I am. I’m quite sure that you would love to spend at least a weekend in one of those rooms and enjoy the spa…well I do.
