ONUP Talks is debuting on its first edition, as an architecture symposium organized by ONUP Platform with the support of the Kosovar Ministry of Diaspora, on a series of talks by well-known Kosovan architects and artists living and working all around the world.

The event will take place between Oct 23rd and Oct 24th, starting from 18:00 at the Modelarium of FCEA, UP, with the theme “Home or Abroad” on the diasporas impact on Kosova’s architecture, proposing the idea of human capacity building in Kosovo by providing the space to architects and urbanists from the diaspora in order to share their way of thinking and experiences.

The list of lecturers at the symposium include diaspora professionals from different fields of art, such as Fatlum Radoniqi, Besian Mehmeti (BMA Architects) from Macedonia, Lulzim Kabashi (Ivansin Kabasi Arhitekt) from Croatia, Ernest and Denis Ferizi of FERIZI+FERIZI Architects, Visar Geci of Innarch, and renowned artists Sislej Xhafa.

This two day symposium is an attempt to light up the cooperation between local artists, architects and urbanists and those from diaspora, offers the professionals from Diaspora to contribute more to their country of origin by using their professional capacities and offers them the space to demonstrate to local students their work and experience.
