The department of urbanism of the city of Peja few months ago announced the launch of the competition for the city center of Peja, in which 14 national and international practices participated.

The competition challenged participants to redefine the city`s public and private retail space on the temporary base of the current condition of the plot. The city`s condition of maintaining the current retail designated lots will result in creating a partnership with the municipality, thus, the joined lots will form a “retail entity” as an inner bazaar.
