Urban art on the streets of Vercorin
The streets of Vercorin, a small Swiss ski town, have been painted by artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann.
Hosting a fair, the town wanted to invite a design team to create something distinctive. The organisers asked Lang and Baumann to transform its streets.
The artists responded with an encounter between the traditional setting and contemporary art. Their painted intervention aimed to create a strong yet non-aggressive overlay on the town’s older urban fabric. Using the same technique as road markings, they achieved the intended visual impact.
