Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo and the Municipality of Prishtina announced an official opening ceremony for the city’s first Eco-Park on 7 August at 10:00, at the entrance to Veternik.

The donation of the park to Prishtina’s residents forms part of the company’s stated commitment to sustainable cities and environmental protection. Its distinctive feature is that it will grow through newly married couples planting a sapling after their wedding ceremony.

The hour-long opening ceremony is open to residents wishing to visit the park and witness the weddings of ten couples, who will then plant its first saplings.

Speakers announced for the event include Prishtina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti, Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo director Neritan Tira and US Ambassador Greg Delawie. /KultPlus
