A London house just 1.8 metres wide
A London property just 1.8 metres wide, described by its estate agent as “London’s thinnest house”, was listed for $1.3 million at the time of this report. Located in Shepherd’s Bush in west London, it was formerly a hat shop.
Fashion photographer Juergen Teller converted the shop into a home in the 1990s. Pride and Prejudice actor Simon Woods lived there between 2006 and 2008.
Teller renovated the property to maximise space. Despite its narrow width, the original report gives its area as 1,034 square metres across five floors. It includes two bedrooms, a study, a bathroom with wardrobe space, a roof terrace and a landscaped garden.
